SECRET SANTA - Rules and Guidelines

HIII AND WARMLY WELCOME TO SecretSanta-2014

Christmas and winter Holidays are coming up!
Hot chocolate, cozy fireplaces and of course gifts and art are waiting for you!

We thought we wanted to spread some Christmas spirit and holiday cheers for the people at dA! 
This is my first time doing this kind of thing so please bare with me! ♥


What is a Secret Santa?

Secret santa is an event where you draw art for eachother, and get art back in return!
It is like a blind date. Or a Blind Art Trade ahaha. 
You are giving art to someone to then receive art back. From a secret giver!
Meaning you won´t know who YOUR Santa is until the day arrives.
Leaving it exciting and thrilling waiting for your special gift! ////


What is special with THIS SS group?

This group will focus highly on quality and skill level.
Meaning that we will make sure that your santa is around your own drawing/skill level.
We all know that even if we love to give, we also love to get something back of the same standard. 
And we will do our best to ensure that! ♥


 How do I join?

You must be invited to join this group. //
This is a group of sincerity and quality. And only trusted people will be invited. To ensure everyone´s happiness ♥
Once Invited you are free to suggest 10 friends around your own skill level to be invited.
Simply note the group about the people you recommend and we will check them out.


 When do I get to know who I shall draw for?

Around November 15th we will organize and hand out what person you are Santa too.
We will try to randomize around the same skill level as much as possible!

When do I submit my Wishlist?

Anytime before November 15th.


 Where do I submit it?

You submit your wishlist to your own Sta.sh.
We will then send your Sta.sh journal to your Santa. ♥

We will also provide your Sta.sh journal beside your name on the Santa list.


 How shall I write my Wishlist?

 When shall I submit my art piece?

As Close as possible to December 24th.

If I don´t submit it on time, what happens?

Your name will be publicly uploaded for us to keep track on who is left to upload it.
If you don´t upload it after a certain said time, you will be banned from future events, held by Yamio

* \\ HOW TO WRITE WISHLIST //

 You can show up to 3 different characters you wish to be drawn. It is okay if few more but try to keep it as few as possible. HOWEVER Keep in mind only ONE will be chosen by your Santa.
Do not be too picky about your outfits and the like. Let the artists have some freedom for the best result! ♥

YOU MUST SHOW/LINK REFS. REFS IS A MUST. AN ABSOLUTE. If you have no refs then make one before the SS starts.

 SPECIFY if you want a Chibi, a Fullbody or if it DOESN´T MATTER.
Please specify if you mind your critter being humanized or not. And you will be matched up with a person who matches that.

PLEASE ALSO SPECIFY WHAT YOU PREFER TO DRAW YOURSELF IN THE BOTTOM OF YOUR WISHLIST. [chibi/fullbody/critter/anthro]
It saves us a lot of hassle.

\\ GUIDELINES AS A SANTA //

 Traditional and digital art is accepted. 
The picture MUST be over 700 x 700 px. This is to ensure alike quality for all. ///

  a background is a MUST! Even if simple! 

Make sure you put effort and care into the art! 
Everyone is trying their hardest, and we hope you are too! ♥

Keep mind that this group might have people wishing for their critters drawn and the like. 
If you are uncomfortable with something, please mention it to Yamio and we will make sure are not matched up with something out of your comfort zone! ///
