The first word that comes into mind when seeing this picture is dazzling. I love, love the sparkles, it really brightens up the chibi and the contrast makes the character mysterious and adorable, all at the same time. The shading and wrinkles of the clothes are well done, in such a smooth manner to boot. For this one character you did put alot of time-seven hours was it? I can tell. Not many would have guessed that, because artists like you make art look easy and effortless, much like someone watching football in their home. However, there are a few small flaws and suggestions I have for this picture: -The left shoe (from the viewer's perspective) is smaller than the one on the viewer's right. I'd make the shoe wider and slightly taller. -His mouth is extremely hard to see and spot out. I'd make him have a more expressive facial expression, and that includes making his mouth larger, visible to all. -The left hand (viewer's perspective) looks uneven compared to the other hand, it looks more like a globby hand. I'd structure it more like you did with other hand. And that's all for this piece. Hope this helps! Keep up the good work
I like the overall composition. A good use of shading to show the "lines" in the piece itself (black line for outline). I also like the use of gradual/sharper shading in order to show the different sheen levels (matte skin vs. shiny bow).
I'm also left wondering where the source(s) of light are. Based on the shading, I'm guessin it's either near the left eye going up and to the right, or near the abdomen and going down and to the right. I'd like to see sharper contrast (highlights and shading) so the light areas are lighter and the shadows are darker. The bow seems to have deeper shadows than the robe/outfit behind, which is supposed to be further from the light and probably have deeper shadows.
